Digital Media and Peak Training Effect
I’m running immediately after I complete every timetabled activity in the digital media module. I’m going to start sharing some of my workouts by blogging about them and hope others in the fitness media ring do the same thing.
I’m helped by my Suunto Ambit 3 watch, the one I wear every day, because when I feel it on my wrist during classroom sessions, I want to get outside and use it to measure my workouts.
I’m trying to understand Peak Training Effect PTE and think that within a few months I’ll be recording 10km every day with max heart rates and peak training effects showing up on a progress chart. If I’m correct, a combination of daily distances, interval training to reach max heart rate and a pace to record above a 3.0 for PTE will get me in shape to finish a 10km road race with my youngest daughter.
